Our cutters are made by a local craftsman who's wife makes soap. Grant developed this cutter to ease the task of cutting the soap bars the same size. He gave us one about a year ago and we have been using it ever since. We have cut thousands of bars of soap with ours and we were so impressed with the quality and the great design we badgered him unmercifully until he agreed to make these cutters for us.
The ends of the soap brace has an adjustable stop so you can vary the size of your bars and after the initial adjustment cut all the bars the same size.
The wire runs against hardwood edges to help keep the sides of the brace from wearing down.
