I tested the sealers by sending a sealed jar of an oil based salt scrub in the mail to a friend and the jar was dry when it arrived.

She then sent it back to me by mail and again, it arrived dry.

We can't guarentee that the sealers will absolutely prevent salt scrubs from leaking, but I believe that this product, used correctly will seal salt scrubs well enough to ship your product by mail.

See below for sealing instructions

2oz Jar
1 = 10¢
100 = $9.00

4oz Jar
1 = 12¢
100 = $11.00

8oz Jar
1 = 15¢
100 = $14.00

Jar sealers

How to use the jar sealers:

  • Make sure that the edge of the jar is completely free of oil or particles

  • Lightly press the jar sealers onto the edge of the jar

  • Put the lid on the jar making sure that the jar sealer does not move

  • Tighten the lid down very tightly ensuring that you are careful not to crack the lid.  The idea is to "press seal" your product

  • If shipping your product, leave set for 24 hours and remove lid to ensure the sealer has sealed.

I had to re-press one jar for an additional 24 hours for it to seal, but it may have been fine if I had not removed the lid.
